Registration 101: For Newly-Admitted High School Students (Virtual)

Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 7:00 PM until 8:00 PMMountain Daylight Time UTC -06:00

Join Enrolment Services, alongside UCalgary's Recruitment and Admissions teams, for an engaging and interactive workshop designed to empower students on their educational journey! This session, running from 7 PM to 8 PM, will leave you feeling confident and in control as you take the next steps in planning your degree.

Registration is required, so be sure to sign up! To make the most of this session, we encourage students to review the First Year Degree Guide and come prepared with a list of 3 to 5 classes they'd like to add to their shopping cart. We’ll guide you through searching for courses, building a customized schedule, and loading and validating your shopping cart for a seamless registration experience. Don’t miss this opportunity to set yourself up for success!

Heads up, future engineers! If you're starting in engineering, you'll be part of a common first-year program, and your faculty will help you get all set up with your course registration—so no need to attend the Registration 101 sessions. That said, you’re welcome to join us for a newly admitted virtual campus tour!

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.

The University of Calgary, located in the heart of Southern Alberta, both acknowledges and pays tribute to the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). The City of Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta (Districts 5 and 6).

The University of Calgary is situated on land Northwest of where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, a site traditionally known as Moh’kins’tsis to the Blackfoot, Wîchîspa to the Stoney Nakoda, and Guts’ists’i to the Tsuut’ina. On this land and in this place we strive to learn together, walk together, and grow together “in a good way.”
