    Application Season is Here: How Do I Apply to UCalgary?  

    Excited to apply to UCalgary for Fall 2025? Let’s make this process easy and fun! Here’s your quick guide to submitting your application and navigating the next steps.

    When Can I Apply?

    • International applicants: Application opens August 15, 2024.

    • Domestic applicants: Application opens October 1, 2024.

    • Deadline for everyone: March 1, 2025. Don’t forget, if you change your program choices after receiving an offer, your offer will be forfeited in order for us to complete another evaluation.

    What to Do Before You Apply?

    Before diving into your application, take some time to get familiar with UCalgary! Here are a few things to do to help you feel confident:

    • Attend Our Events: Join our Start Your Journey Webinar, Faculty Information Nights, or On-Campus Advising Days to get a taste of what UCalgary has to offer.

    • Take a Campus Tour: Whether in-person or virtual, a campus tour is the best way to explore our vibrant community, student resources, and classrooms. It’s the perfect chance to picture yourself here!

    • Research Programs: With over 250 programs to choose from, it’s important to pick the right one for you. Check out our program pages to learn about the admission requirements and exciting opportunities.

    Ready to Apply?

    To apply, visit our website and follow the steps based on where you completed high school. Don’t forget to pay the application fee, because your application won’t be reviewed until the fee is paid!

    What Happens After You Apply?

    Once submitted, you’ll have access to your Student Centre, where you can track your application, submit documents, and check your application status. You can also apply for scholarships, so don’t wait!

    What If I Haven’t Completed All My Courses?

    Don’t worry! We’ll evaluate based on Grade 11 marks first. If you don’t get an offer right away, we’ll re-evaluate after your Grade 12 marks are in. Offers are typically made between February and July based on your grades and space availability.
